The Master Block is an Action Block; it controls a world's global effects (such as gravity, weather, wind, rain, and earthquakes) as well as utility settings for that world (for example, disabling touch-drag).

Notes

  • The Master Block is used to control a world's basic settings, and its weather effects, manually. Its feature set makes it suitable for more advanced Blocksworld users, although beginners can play around with it as well.
  • Master Block settings can be changed on the fly using conditional triggers (such as Trigger Volumes or Signals). For example, entering a Trigger Volume can send a signal to change the Master Block weather settings from snow to rain.

  • Adding a Paint swatch to the Master Block's Programming Window controls the color of the world's sky. This can be used to alter time of day, to create an alien world, or just to have a crazy rainbow sky.

  • By default, a placed Master Block has no tiles added to its Script Window. It must be initially configured by the user to have an effect on the world.
