Volume Block HD.png

The Trigger Volume is an Action Block. Scaling the Trigger Volume defines a region that can detect objects within its area - it can then send Signals or perform other actions when touched or entered.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • The Trigger Volume can be attached to any other block using any of its six surfaces. It can also be scaled on all three axes to any desired size and shape.

  • The Trigger Volume responds to objects entering its bounding box. It can be used to detect specific objects, or only objects with a specified Tag.

  • The Trigger Volume's inputs and outputs are fully programmable using its Programming Window - it can trigger many different tasks when entered (such as sending Signals, or changing color states to set up conditional actions).

  • By default, a placed Trigger Volume adds a Freeze Scripting Tile to its Programming Window. On play, an unattached Trigger Volume will be frozen in its world position (to keep it from falling through the floor of the world). These default Tiles can be replaced or modified by the user.
