The Jet Engine is an Action Block. It is functionally similar to the Rocket, but has a rotating fan blade element and one extra Scripting Tile (Flame). The Jet Engine can generate thrust for flight or movement; it can also generate smoke particles and/or a fire stream, with or without using the thrust function.
Notes[]
- The Jet Engine can be attached to any other block by four of its surfaces: its two flat cylinder ends, or its two side connector plates.
- If a block is attached to the Jet Engine, it can be moved by the Jet Engine's thrust. (Symmetrical/balanced models will move best, as the model's center of gravity is used correctly.)
- Applying a Smoke Scripting Tile to the Jet Engine without a Thrust Tile causes the Jet Engine to emit a stream of smoke particles without moving the object.
- Applying a Flame Scripting Tile to the Jet Engine without a Thrust Tile causes the Jet Engine to emit a stream of fire particles without moving the object.
- When using the Smoke or Flame tiles, the color of the smoke and/or flame can be changed by painting the colored dot inside the Jet Engine's rear thrust cone.
- By default, a placed Jet Engine adds a Thrust Scripting Tile to its Script Window. On play, the Jet Engine will emit thrust at a moderate force of 5. This default Tile can be replaced or modified by the user.
