Flight Yoke HD.png

The Flight Yoke is an Action Block. In function, it is nearly identical to the Antigravity Block. However, it resembles an airplane flight yoke, allowing builders to simply add this one block to any flying vehicle and easily create flight behavior.

The Flight Yoke can generate thrust for flight, hovering, or movement.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • The Flight Yoke can be attached to any other block by any of its six surfaces.

  • If a block is attached to the Flight Yoke, it can be moved by the Flight Yoke's thrust. (Symmetrical/balanced models will move best, as the model's center of gravity is used correctly.)

  • Flying or hovering vehicles can be driven completely by a single Flight Yoke. Attaching Controls directly to specific forces (for example, Mover Up to forward thrust, etc) allows full Mover usage without further control surfaces or additional Stabilizers.

  • Although very similar to the Antigravity Block, the Flight Yoke includes additional Actions that, when used, create easy, preset flight configurations. These Actions are noted below as "Flight Presets".

  • By default, a placed Flight Yoke adds Easy Turn, Hover, Align, and Thrust Scripting Tiles to its Script Window, all at moderate settings. On play, the Antigravity Block will align to the ground, levitate at its current height (with a setting of force 5), and have preset turning controls via a Mover. These default Actions can be replaced or modified by the user.

List of Scripting Tiles[edit | edit source]

Image Tile Name Description Parameter

95x75
Hover Causes the Flight Yoke (and any attached model) to attempt to hover at a defined altitude (in Block units) Height (Slider)
95x75
Align To World Keeps the Flight Yoke (and any attached model) aligned "flat" to the world Strength (Slider)
95x75
Align To Ground Keeps the Flight Yoke (and any attached model) aligned to the angle of the terrain underneath it Strength (Slider)
95x75
Stay Causes the Flight Yoke (and any attached model) to try to maintain its starting altitude Force (Slider)

Fall Causes the Flight Yoke (and any attached model) to fall towards the ground Strength (Slider)
95x75
Levitate Causes the Flight Yoke (and any attached model) to fly upwards from the ground Strength (Slider)
95x75
Reverse Creates reverse thrust from the Flight Yoke; the block can be attached to objects to move them Force (Slider)
95x75
Lift Creates upward lift from the Flight Yoke; the block can be attached to objects to move them Force (Slider)
95x75
Drop Creates downward force from the Flight Yoke; the block can be attached to objects to move them Force (Slider)
95x75
Pitch Back Tilts the Flight Yoke (and any attached model) backward Force (Slider)

Roll Right Rolls the Flight Yoke (and any attached model) right Force (Slider)
95x75
Roll Left Rolls the Flight Yoke (and any attached model) right Force (Slider)
95x75
Turn To Turns the Flight Yoke (and any attached model) toward the nearest block with the specified Tag Strength (Slider)
95x75
Turn From Turns the Flight Yoke (and any attached model) away from blocks with the specified Tag Strength (Slider)
95x75
Easy Turn Flight preset; attaches a Mover directly to the Flight Yoke, and automatically assigns turning to the correct directional controls Speed (Slider)
95x75
Flight Sim Flight preset; enables full flight sim-style controls to the Flight Yoke with a Mover (push forward to dive, pull back to lift) Speed (Slider)
95x75
Bank Turn Flight preset; enables Mover turn control while keeping the Flight Yoke (and any attached model) level, with a slight bank Speed (Slider)
